Biographical Note for SCHNEIDERIAN MEMBRANE

Schnei·der \ˈshnīd-ər\ , Conrad Victor (1614–1680), German anatomist. Schneider was professor of medicine at Wittenberg. In 1660 he published a work on catarrh in which he described the nasal mucous membrane, now known as the Schneiderian membrane.
